As someone who’s been providing Maryland with our flooring contractor services for years, we’ve helped thousands with their garages and floors, and we wanted to take some time today to talk about some of the best flooring options for your garage.

Epoxy Flooring in a Garage

Polished Concrete Flooring

One of the most popular flooring options we install in people’s garages is polished concrete flooring. Concrete flooring is hard and resilient and will be able to handle all of the wear and tear your garage can throw at it. Concrete floors are also very affordable and will look good with any kind of design plan you have.

An Epoxy Coating

If you’re looking to just spruce up your existing flooring, then you may want to look into getting an epoxy coating. Epoxy coatings can be applied to existing concrete and stone floors, and it comes in a variety of colors and styles. You’ll also need to make sure that your subfloors are resistant to moisture and dampness, as epoxy is not suitable for floors that absorb moisture.

Rubber Tile Flooring

Rubber tile flooring is a great option for your garage. Rubber tiles are easy to install, are extremely safe, and come in many different colors and designs. Tile floors don’t require much maintenance and can be cleaned very easily. This is a flooring option that has increased in popularity greatly over the years and is one our Maryland flooring contractors have a lot of experience installing.

Vinyl Flooring Options

Selecting vinyl floors for your garage can be a good option, if your garage faces low levels of traffic. Vinyl flooring comes in any color you can think of and is an easily maintained and cleaned products. If you’re planning on parking cars in your garage, you may want to avoid vinyl however, as it is not as strong as stone or concrete flooring.
