Rubber Flooring is Perfect for Your Basement

Rubber floors are great for basements because of how well they hold up under extreme temperatures and because of how soft they are. Your kids will love playing on your rubber basement floor, and you can rest easy knowing they won’t hurt themselves while playing. Additionally, rubber flooring comes in any color you’d like, so you can ensure your floor matches the rest of your basement.

Luxury Vinyl Tile

Also known as LVT, luxury vinyl tile comes in both planks and squares and makes for an excellent basement flooring option. LVT is made to resemble wood and is an extremely durable moisture-resistant material. It’s also easy to install and will retain some warmth due to its thickness. It’s more expensive than traditional vinyl but makes up for it with its much higher-end appearance.

Ceramic or Porcelain Tiling

Tiles are a great option for your basement floor. They come in nearly any style or look you can imagine and can even be made to look like hardwood planks. Ceramic and porcelain tiles are waterproof, durable, and are perfect for damp environments. The primary con to tiles is that they don’t retain much heat and are cold to the feet.
