Dragon Scale is ICRI Certified
Dragon Scale is constantly looking for ways to improve and provide better service to our clients. We know that knowledge is power, and that’s why we’re always taking new courses, getting new certifications, and learning about the latest techniques in home improvement. We’ve started 2022 off strong by becoming an ICRI certified home improvement company in Maryland. But what exactly does that mean? Keep reading to find out.
What is “ICRI''?
ICRI stands for the International Concrete Repair Institute. They’re an organization that prides itself on being the center for concrete repair leadership. Founded in 1988, ICRI has been providing education, information, and direction toward the future of the concrete repair industry. Their purpose is to improve the quality of concrete restoration, repair, and protection through education of, and communication among its members and those who use its services.
What Does it Mean to be ICRI Certified?
ICRI provides a wide range of certification and education courses. Dragon Scale has become ICRI certified by participating in their Concrete Slab Moisture Testing (CSMT) Program. This program is for those who want to gain knowledge on concrete slab moisture-related flooring problems and test methods. It’s a three to four-hour educational presentation that is given by certification program instructors who are nationally known experts in the field of concrete flooring problems, testing, and mitigation. After the three to four-hour education session, participants must pass the written examination to become certified.
